Alfred Gabbitas is a small family business offering a quality building service to homeowners in and around the local area. Chris Gabbitas, a bricklayer, and his son Andrew, a carpenter, run the business from an office, workshop and builders yard based in central Bedfordshire. Chris and Andrew have more than 50 years of building experiance between them and as a result have a reputation for quality, reliability and customer service that is not often associated with other building companies.

We can even arrange for you to visit recent customers to see the quality of our work for yourself. The fact that ALL of our previous customers are happy ones means that you can be sure that you are not dealing with 'the cowboys'.

- We are hugely experianced in our field and only use tried and trusted trades people. This ensures that all work to your property is carried out to the higest of standards and is completed at the right stages of your project.

- We offer you an approachable, friendly and complete service from initial concept to final decoration. You can relax in your own home whilst our team is on site, we will worry about the first to the last detail of you project and will involve you in as much of the descision making as you feel required.

- We will always be helpful, offer advice and keep you well informed throughout the building process. We understand that you do not neccesarrly understand how your house is constructed or when the next visit from the building inspector is due but we will give you continual feedback on the progress of your build and what to expect as thigs progress. Just so you know!

- When we give you a start date for work to commence we stick to it. There are no if's and no but's , if we say we will be there, we will be there and we will be there until the project is completed.

- All of our work meets with Building Regulations, GasSafe Regulations and Electrical Regulations. We don't want there to be any problems for you later down the line so all of our work is checked, inspected and tested and then all relevant certificates are passed to you.

- From start date to completion there will be at least one of our team on site ensuring your project is completed within the given time frame and in most cases completed ahead of schedule. We will always be polite and courteous and will do our best to minimise mess and inconvenience to you.
